LEGO Technic
LEGO's motors and sensors let you build a robot's body without a soldering iron. The Raspberry Pi Build HAT connects them to a Pi, and the Build HAT library drives them from your program.
What you need
- A Raspberry Pi 3B+ or 4.
- The Raspberry Pi Build HAT, seated on the Pi's 40-pin header.
- The Build HAT's 8 V power supply. It powers the Pi too, through the header, so the Pi doesn't need its own.
- LEGO motors and sensors with the LPF2 connector: the ones from SPIKE Prime, SPIKE Essential, Robot Inventor and the Technic hubs. Older Power Functions parts don't fit.

Each component gets its own page once the Build HAT library supports it. Today the library drives motors, and the sensors come next.
